As my first blog, I would like to confront an issue that hurts me the most. I wrote this as a response on a liberal website and now I am posting it here slightly edited because I believe the questions on that site that I addessed are important for people to know or think about.
Condom:
If you wear a condom, you will get STD’s. STD’s are smaller than the pores in the condom. That is a dangerous for your health to believe.
Stand:
Pro-Life.
It is your own view when life begins. We can all talk about this until we are blue in the face.
There are some things that are indisputable that cannot be ignored.
Day 1: Fertilization: all human chromosomes are present; unique human life begins. Sperm join with ovum (egg) to form one cell-smaller than a grain of salt. The new life has inherited 23 chromosomes from each parent, 46 in all. This one cell contains the complex genetic blueprint for every detail of human development-the child’s sex, hair and eye color, height, skin tone.
Day 3-4: The fertilized egg travels down the fallopian tube into the uterus, where the lining has been prepared for implantation.
Day 6: Embryo begins implantation in the uterus.
Day 9: During this time, the fertilized egg implants itself in the rich lining of the uterus and begins to draw nourishment.
Day 10-14: The developing embryo signals its presence through placental chemicals and hormones, preventing the mother from menstruating.
Day 20: Foundations of the brain, spinal cord and nervous system are already established.
Day 21: The heart begins to beat.
Day 28: The backbone and muscles are forming. Arms, legs, eyes and ears have begun to show.
Day 30: The heart is pumping increasing quantities of blood through the circulatory system.
Day 35: Five fingers can be discerned in the hand. The eyes darken as pigment is produced.
Day 40: Brain waves can be detected and recorded.
Day 42: The liver is now taking over the production of blood cells and the brain begins to control movement of muscles and organs. The mother is about to miss her second period and has probably confirmed that she is pregnant.
Week 7: The embryo begins to move spontaneously. The jaw forms, including teeth buds in the gums.
Week 8: At a little more than an inch long, the developing life is now called a fetus-- Latin for young one or offspring. Everything is now present that will be found in a fully developed adult. The stomach produces digestive juices and the kidneys have begun to function. The fetus' body responds to touch, although the mother will not be able to feel movement until the fourth or fifth month.
Week 9: The fetus can squint, swallow, and wrinkle its forehead. The fetus will curve its fingers around an object placed in the palm of its hand.
Week10: The uterus has now doubled in size.
Week 11: The fetus is about two inches long. Urination occurs.
Week 12: The baby has all of the parts necessary to experience pain, including nerves, spinal cord, and thalamus. Vocal cords are complete. The baby can suck its thumb. The fetus now sleeps, awakens and exercises its muscles energetically-- turning its head, curling its toes, and opening and closing its mouth.
Week 13: By now, you can tell if it's a boy or a girl.
Month 4: By the end of this month, the fetus is eight to ten inches in length and weighs a half pound or more. The mother will probably start to “show” now. The ears are functioning, and there is evidence that the fetus hears quite a bit: the mother’s voice and heartbeat as well as external noises. The umbilical cord has become an engineering marvel, transporting 300 quarts of fluids per day and completing a round-trip of fluids every 30 seconds.
Week 17: The baby can dream.
Month 5: The earliest stage at which Partial birth abortions are performed. The ears are functioning and the baby recognizes its' mothers voice and heartbeat, as well as external noises. Half the pregnancy has now passed as the fetus is about 12 inches long. The mother has definitely begun to feel movement by now.
Month 6: Oil and sweat glands are functioning. The delicate skin of the growing baby is protected from the fetal waters by a special ointment called “vernix.” If the baby were born in this month and given the proper care, he or she would survive.
Month 7: The baby now uses the four senses of vision, hearing, taste and touch.
Month 8: The skin begins to thicken with a layer of fat stored underneath for insulation and nourishment. Antibodies increasingly build up. The baby absorbs a gallon of amniotic fluid per day; the fluid is completely replaced every three hours.
Month 9: Toward the end of this month, the baby is ready for birth. The average duration of pregnancy is 280 days from the first day of the mother’s last menstrual period, but this varies. Most babies (85 percent to 95 percent) are born somewhere between 266 and 294 days. By this time the infant normally weighs 6 to 9 pounds, and his heart is pumping about 250 gallons of blood a day. He is fully capable of life outside of the womb.

Rape:
People who are raped rarely become pregnant. This should not even as the deciding factor to decide the fate of all the other thousands of babies who are at the line to be aborted.
Masturbation representing abortion?
If this was the case, then a female ovulating would be counted as an abortion. Please do not use this argument. It has no foundation.
Regret:
I am an ultrasound technician. It is a fact when I am taking the history of a woman concerning carried to term pregnancies and abortions, every time they look down and say in a voice filled with regret when they say they have had an abortion. No matter how many people have told them it is alright, no matter that the government has made it legal to end a child’s life, they still take it upon themselves they killed a child. Everyone believes this deep down. Quit denying it.
Partial Birth:
It is hypocritical to judge differently to say it is okay to abort a baby even on its way out of the womb, but to inflict the death penalty on a mother who threw her one day old baby in the dumpster. It is no wonder why she would think it would be okay since we have lowered the value of human life so much.
Age:
I think that if a girl is old enough to have sex, then she is old enough to carry a baby.
Adoption.
Please do not be selfish and inflict harm on another because you can not handle the inconvenience of a decision you made.
