After the election on November 4, 2008, ABC said they will no longer wear American Flag pins to not 'seem' to support one political side.

When did wearing the American Flag mean you represent a political side? It’s the American Flag…it should represent everyone…Democrats and Republicans.

If you are claiming your rights under the Constitution, you better claim the American Flag as well. They go hand in hand.

Another note…ABC stands for American Broadcasting.

As a whole, the American people need to rethink our logic, because it has seems to be failing as of lately.

This is pretty high on Inconceivable in my definition. Actually kind of funny when you think about it.

Did Someone say Free Broadband?

The Chair of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is getting in the holiday spirit by urging his agency to give Americans an unexpected present this Christmas-free broadband Internet.

For the past two years, FCC boss Kevin Martin has backed a plan that would use a bundle of inactive airwaves for wireless service across the U.S.

Sweetening the deal for parents is Martin's condition that the broadband not only be fee-free but porn-free.

Assuming the vote passes at the FCC's December 18 meeting, the winning bidder on the project must agree to install a filter that blocks adult content.

Critics: Complained that Martin's family-friendly plan violates Americans' right to smut.

FRC argues: Users still have the option of paying for a service of their choice or removing the filter once they have proven to be 18 years of age.

For parents burdened by web fees and cautious about Internet sleaze, the proposal is a win-win.

If the project does not have the support of at least three of the five commissioners on December 18, the issue may not be raised again before the agency switches hands.

Nudge FCC Commissioners Deborah Taylor Tate (202-418-2500), Michael Copps (202-418-2000), Jonathan Adelstein (202-418-2300), and Robert McDowell (202-418-2200) to support Martin's plan by contacting their offices.
